Food was good and plentiful. Unexpensive.

Prompt and hospitable service.

We were there at 8.30 p.m. on a Saturday ... they said that the kitchen will close soon (open until 10 p.m.) ... doesn't work. So the starter was delivered almost together with the main course. Dessert was just colder to choose from. And then only one. It was already cleaned while we were still eating ... a shame ... because the place is actually good. 3 out of 4 pizzas were good ... one a little short in the oven but still ok.

Food is good, about fair value for money, staff though are usually great at customer service (something that is usually quite bad here in Germany)

Find a place comfortably and quickly. Eating pizza there was delicious and you didn't have to wait long. The cutlery was a little blunt but that has nothing to do with the food.

I don't like it too loud, too full ... In addition, I was brought the wrong food. Justification for "the other was over". You should have asked me what I want instead. My experience ... I hope others didn't.

Were there during lunch break and I was impressed by the speed of the waiters and the delicious food. Super ambience and great value for money. Was definitely not there for the last time :-)

Everything about this restaurant is great! The atmosphere, the waiters and most importantly the food! Also with the prices I have to say, you can't complain at all! The Mezzo Mezzo is only recommended, whether for events or a short lunch.

Fair price for good food and good atmosphere. The pizza allocation could be improved. A distribution on the whole dough and not 10cm margin without topping. Otherwise the location is clean and offers cozy tables on the upper floor.

At lunchtime you should bring your own time and not all Italian dishes are authentic. Unfortunately, none of them are very taken in by themselves. The central location and the price / performance ratio are positive.

Every order has quality here. The staff is friendly, the prices are right and the location directly in the CityCenter. I can definitely recommend Mezzo Mezzo.

First of all, thank you for the wonderful evening in your restaurant! We celebrated our annual Christmas party there with family and friends. It was a party for us as always !!! The service was great even though the restaurant was completely full. The food was a poem and the atmosphere was just great ... We are looking forward to our next visit !!!

I can really recommend this restaurant! The staff worked straightforward, clean and friendly. We both found the selection of drinks fantastic! We find the restaurant up-to-date for all kinds of events - irrelevant whether with a man, acquaintance or clan; ).

Good value for money with large portions and standard dishes, pleasant ambience, friendly service. Do not go for a quick meal, because the dishes are freshly prepared. I do not know any better restaurant in the price segment in Essen's city center.

I was occasionally here invited by our company and have to say the place is really OK. The food quality is adequate. You will not be dissapointed. Perhaps also not surprised.

This is not the best place with Italian specialities. But also not the worst. Average.

Good restaurant in Essen. Spacious but not recommended tables near the open kitchen due to the smells. Friendly staff and regular service. Good food but not really Italian, I would say international to be precise. Average price. Definitely recommended.

Very tasty restaurant. Since it is a bit out of the way of Kettwiger Straße, it is not as crowded as the others. Starter, entree, dessert everything was cooked well. Service friendly and courteous. We were also asked several times, if something was missing - not like in other poorer restaurants, where you only once served. Everything perfect.

An atmospheric ambience in the middle of Essen's pedestrian zone. Very nice staff, open kitchen and the food was wonderful. We had spaghetti, a grill plate and homemade ravioli with porcini mushrooms. In addition tasty salads. Delicious Greek yoghurt for dessert. That's the beauty of Mezzo Mezzo: the offer combines Italian and Greek specialties. We will be back!

Good Italian restaurant in the middle of Essen

Very delicious and also a very nice courteous staff. The restaurant is also nicely decorated. We would eat here again when we are in Essen.

Unexpected perfect food with large portions and style. A must for spaghetti lovers

Big fancy restaurant, Italian with Greek influence, kind attention and good food. We ordered vittelo tone and veal carpaccio as starter and some pizza and pasta as main dish, all with good taste quick and correct pricing. The toilets are clean and the drinks cold.

Mezzo Mezzo is a good restaurant, bit high class, dishes are not cheap but have good quantity..! Ample for gathering, also you can sit outside if weather is nice..
